Supervision Dashboard

Everything you need to see, all in one place.

The guardian supervision dashboard gives you a calm, clear view of what’s happening across all your protected users — without having to dig around to find it.

See all your children at once

Open Supervision and you see a card for each protected user, with their name, their avatar and how their last seven days have gone: messages sent, received and reviewed. A Needs your attention card at the top tells you straight away if something is waiting for your approval or a child’s device is not receiving notifications, and takes you to the fix. It only appears when something needs you.

Tap a child to open their profile

Each protected user has their own profile. New protected users get a Finish setting up checklist, and every profile shows their activity and usage (today, 7 days, 30 days or all time), their protection settings at a glance, and the status of their device. From the profile you can manage:

  • Premium protection — Turn on Premium features for this child.
  • Edit Info — Edit their name
  • Share Profile — Share the profile in many different ways to other family members. Learn more →
  • Guardians — View and manage who else can supervise your child
  • View Chats — View all chats and messages (Premium)
  • Send Message — Quickly open up your chat with the child
  • Create Group Chat — Start a new group conversation on behalf of your child, selecting from their contacts or your own
  • Manage Group Members — Add or remove members from your child’s group chats without touching their device
  • Contacts Protection — Edit their contacts protection settings
  • Message Protection — Edit their message protection settings
  • Contacts — Browse your child’s full contact list and edit contact details directly from the guardian dashboard.
  • Blocked Users — See who your child has blocked. Block or unblock someone on their behalf without touching their device.
  • Archived Chats — View conversations your child has archived. Unarchive them or leave group chats on their behalf.

Take action on their behalf — without their device

Guardians can act directly on a protected user’s account from the dashboard. If a contact is causing concern, you can block them on your child’s behalf — they are not notified. If a conversation has become inactive or unwanted, you can archive it or leave a group chat for your child. You can also browse and edit their contact list directly.

All of this happens from your device. You never need to pick up theirs.

Nothing gets lost in the queue

All pending message and contact approvals are centralised in one view within the Supervision Notifications screen, ordered by arrival time. Each item shows enough context — who sent it, what was said, which conversation it’s from — to make a decision without needing to open anything else.

A record of what’s been happening

A full history of all notifications and any approval decisions made is available within the Supervision Notifications screen

Weekly activity report

Every week, ChatMinder sends you a personalised activity summary — a digest of what’s been happening across your children’s accounts. Stay informed at a glance without having to check the app every day. The report also covers calls: how many voice and video calls your child made or received, the minutes spent on them, and how many different people they spoke to.

Separate from the weekly report, a daily notification lets you know if you have any unread messages waiting for your attention.

Change settings without hunting for them

All per-child settings — contacts protection, message approval, Smart Approval, and co-guardian management — are accessible from within the protected users profile. No separate settings screens to navigate.

Managing more than one child? No problem.

Each child has an independent profile. Settings changes for one child don’t affect others, and all co-guardian approval actions are reflected in real time — so you’re never working from stale information.
